Big news from the Sixty7.green. On 15 May, our colleague Sophia Evans welcomed baby Isabella into the world — our second Sixty7.green baby, following her big brother Phin. Huge congratulations to the Evans family from all of us. We’re thrilled to welcome another member to our clan.

In this 2025 edition, we’ll talk about great results for one of our key clients, McLarens with completion of their first Environmental Impact Statement. Incredibly proud to have worked with them to achieve this important milestone.

We will also talk about exciting new business partnerships involving Sustainability in Space, celebrate our strong connection to The King’s Environmental Law Foundation and boast about our judging of the world-renowned Global Good Awards.

Impact Statement – McLarens

We’re proud to announce the successful completion of McLarens’s Environmental Impact Statement, delivered in partnership with Sixty7.green. This comprehensive review marks a significant milestone in McLarens’s continuing sustainability journey, offering a clear and honest snapshot of its current environmental footprint and highlighting opportunities for meaningful change across their global business.

The review covers key areas such as energy use, travel, waste, procurement, and overall carbon emissions, forming the foundation for an actionable strategy to reduce environmental impact and embed sustainable practices across operations. It reflects McLarens’ growing commitment to accountability, transparency, and long-term climate resilience.

What truly sets this review apart are the compelling stories of community impact from across McLarens’ global network. From local rewilding projects and school partnerships to charity drives and clean-up initiatives, employees have made a tangible difference in the places they live and work. These grassroots efforts showcase how sustainability at McLarens goes far beyond carbon data — it’s about empowering people to drive positive change in their own communities.

At Sixty7.green, our commitment to a lower carbon future remains embedded in everything we do. That’s why we’ve partnered with Planet Mark, a trusted sustainability certification organisation, to measure and reduce our environmental impact. Each year, we will go through a detailed process of carbon footprint analysis across our operations — from energy use and travel to supply chain emissions – Scope 1, 2 & 3. This data is independently verified by Planet Mark, ensuring full transparency and credibility in our reporting.

But for us, certification is just the start. The insights we gain from Planet Mark inform our action plans for further emissions reduction, helping us set meaningful targets and engage our team and clients in our journey. Being Planet Mark Certified reflects our belief that credible climate action must be measurable, accountable, and continuously improving. It’s our dedication to shaping a more sustainable, low-carbon future — not just for ourselves, but for the organisations we work with.

The Environmental law Foundation

Sixty7.green is proud to maintain a long-standing relationship with The King’s Environmental Law Foundation, reflecting our deep commitment to environmental justice and legal innovation. As active Trustees of the Foundation, we support its mission to advance impactful environmental law education, policy, and advocacy. This partnership reinforces our belief that true sustainability requires strong legal frameworks alongside practical action.

We’re especially excited to highlight the upcoming Rights of Nature Symposium, part of London Climate Action Week, which explores how legal systems can recognise and protect the natural world as a rights-bearing entity. Sixty7.green is delighted again to be an official judge to the Global Good Awards 2025. This year we were Award judge on two categories: Global Good Employer of the Year; and Best Behaviour Change Campaign of the Year. This will be our 5th year as a category award judge.

Established in 2015 and now in its 11th year, the Global Good Awards celebrates organisations of all types—businesses, NGOs, charities, and social enterprises—that are leading the way in purpose-driven sustainability and ethical leadership. The awards honour those delivering practical, scalable, and replicable impact, backed by powerful, inspiring stories.

Setting the standard in the awards industry, GGA is recognised not just for what it rewards, but how it operates. As a pioneer in sustainable events, it was the first awards scheme globally to be rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Awards Trust Mark in 2018—a distinction it has maintained every year since, reflecting its unwavering commitment to ethics, transparency, and innovation.

At the heart of a pioneering collaboration to embed sustainability into the fast-growing UK space industry, Sixty7.green is now positioned to help develop a robust ESG framework that addresses the sector’s unique environmental and social challenges.

Working closely with our partner organisation Callala, and the The University of Manchester, Sixty7.green is seeking to shape how space missions—from satellite design and manufacture to launch and re-entry—are assessed for their real-world impact.

This collaboration has already delivered important insights, with research led by the University of Manchester and supported by Andrew Iwanoczko of Callala and Joey from Sixty7.green. We explored the use of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to quantify the environmental costs of satellite operations.

With the UK space sector poised for major expansion, including new launches and long-term orbital monitoring, this work lays the foundation for credible ESG metrics and real action.

Through its deep engagement with both academic and industry partners, Sixty7.green in collaboration with Callala is expanding its research support to space sector organisations to become champions of responsible innovation—proving that sustainability on Earth must extend to space.
